Good student discount on driver's insurance?

I am wondering about the driver’s insurance good student discount. I have a 3.2 GPA and the quota is 3.5. Would I have to get my accumulated GPA up to 3.5 or do I just need to get a 3.5 on my next semester’s grade GPA?
